Kotor
Kotor is on the UNESCO’s list of world heritage and is one of Europe’s best-preserved medieval cities. The landscape surrounding this little town is incredibly beautiful, especially when you look out over the Bay of Kotor. Lovcen National Park
Montenegro consists of mountains, hills, beautiful landscapes, and lush nature. Lovcen National Park lies just outside Kotor and is no exception when it comes to beautiful nature. Nature here is almost untouched, but despite that it still offers many natural trails where you can go and explore. The park’s main monument is Petar Petrović Njegoš’s Mausoleum, which lies on top of Jezerski vrh.

Gospa od Skrpjela
Gospa od Skrpjela is an island just outside Perast, built on a cliff in 1452Â after two Venetian sailors found an image of the Virgin Mary on it. If you translate Gospa od Skrpjela into English, it will mean “Our Lady of the Rocks.”
Cetinje
Cetinje was the capital of Montenegro, and here lives the President of the country. Cetinje is located in the southwestern part of the country, and its historic center is very cozy and beautiful.
Ostrog Monastery
A little bit away from Podgorica lies the monastery of Ostrog, belonging to the Serbian Orthodox Church. The monastery is built against a vertical stone wall, and from here you get a beautiful view of Bjelopavlići.
Perast
Perast is a historic village in the Bay of Kotor that has been through several attacks from different empires. The atmosphere here is very genuine and simple, and the village is full of beautiful old buildings.
Durmitor National Park
Durmitor lies in the northern part of Montenegro, which is another perfect example of the fine and pristine nature found in the country. There lie many beautiful lakes around the National Park surrounded by lush and mountainous landscapes. If you like nature and hiking, then Durmitor is a must among the top things to do in Montenegro.
Skadarsko / Skadar Lake
Skadarsko is a beautiful natural area that lies between Bar and Podgorica. Skadar lake is a must to see if you like nature and outdoor activities. This is actually the largest lake on the Balkan Peninsula and the area around it is today a national park!
Sveti Stefan – Budva
Only 15 minutes away from Budva lies Sveti Stefan – one of the world’s most prestigious locations. Sveti Stefan is such a place where celebrities go for vacation, which is not surprising at all when you get to see the old town. Sveti Stefan is incredibly beautiful and a must to visit when you’re traveling in Montenegro.
