No vacation to Miami is complete without visiting South Beach. Here you’ll find everything from shopping to party. South Beach is very trendy and varied place, and depending on what you like; you’ll enjoy different parts of South Beach.
Safari Adventure – Stay away from this attraction
We’ve only included this “attraction” in this list to inform you about why you should stay away from Safari Adventure. This is a zoo. Animals are meant to live in the wild and not in captivity.

Everglades
Explore Everglades and go on a classic boat trip through the swamps. Everglades has abundant wildlife and is mostly known for its crocodiles, alligators and diverse birdlife.
Miami Museum of Science
A fun and educational attraction in Miami for the whole family. Perfect as a break from all the shopping and sightseeing – and also as entertainment for children. The exhibitions vary, but they’re always educational and well planned.
Make a trip to the Key West
There are plenty of options to get to Key West from Miami, and It’s highly recommended. Key West has a lovely mix of American, Cuban, and Latino vibes, and gives you that Caribbean vacation feeling without leaving the US.
You can go on a day trip from Miami to the Key West, either by boat or bus.
Nightlife
Miami has an amazing nightlife all year round with everything from beach parties and pool parties to night clubs and bars that keep going until the wee hours. The age limit is 21 to drink alcohol and also to get into the clubs. Here you have nightclubs and bars for all ages and tastes!
Beaches in Miami
Miami’s beaches are known all over the world, and here come many natives to enjoy their holiday in the sun – but also tourists from other countries. There are plenty of beaches in Miami, but some of the best known are Virginia Key Beach, Miami Beach Central, Hobie/Windsurfer Beach, Surfside Beach and Crandon Park Beach.
Monkey Jungle Island – Another attraction to stay away from
This is another attraction that you should stay away from during your stay in Miami. The Monkey Jungle Island is, unfortunately, one of the top things to do in Miami. Even though that the monkeys roam freely on this island, the animals do still not live in their natural habitat, which is wrong and something that you shouldn’t support.

The Art Deco District – Collins Avenue
Here await beautiful buildings in pastel colors and lots of fun shops. The shopping on Collins Avenue can entertain any shopaholic for a couple of hours. Here you’ll find stores like Victoria’s Secret, Urban Outfitters, Zara, Tommy Hilfiger and other famous stores. The whole area has a charming and atmosphere, and it’s just lovely to stroll around among all the colorful buildings.
Aventura Mall
Miami is one of the world’s top shopping destination, and Aventura Mall is no exception when it comes to great shopping. This shopping mall is designed in the classic US-shopping spirit with a large center with hundreds of stores. The range of stores is very mixed, and here you’ll find famous department stores like Macy’s and Nordstrom’s. In Aventure Mall, there’s also stores like Abercrombie & Fitch and more luxurious boutiques such as Burberry and Marc Jacobs.
Villa Vizcaya Museum and Gardens
A beautiful manor house that provides a glimpse back at the historic Southern Florida. The mansion has a European style and is a very popular place to arrange galas, events, and weddings.
