Swayambhunath Temple

This superb temple complex is located on a hill in the west of Kathmandu and is also known as the “Monkey Temple”, thanks to the sacred monkeys living in the north-western parts of the temple complex. A must place to visit when traveling to Kathmandu!

Kopa Temple

A gated community of Buddhist monks and nuns, where you have the chance to learn meditation and yoga. Try to come here as early in the morning as possible to see morning rituals.
