See Turning Torso
This building has become a famous landmark and is today the tallest skyscraper in Scandinavia. The name Turning Torso comes from its unique twisting design.
The Turning Torso is located in the West harbor in Malmö. We recommend viewing the tower from a distance from a street called Ankargatan or from Ribersborgs beach.
The view of The Turning Torso is also incredible when standing right next to it looking up, admiring the building’s twisting design.

Day Trip to Copenhagen
Copenhagen is said to be the capital of Scandinavia is located 35 minutes away by train. If you’ve never been to Copenhagen before, we highly recommend taking the train over during your visit in Malmö.

Stroll around Möllevångstorget
Möllevångstorget is a multicultural square and have influences from all over the world. During the day the square offers fruits and vegetables and other items to shop. Later at night, the square turns into a charming place with a nice atmosphere and great selections of bars and restaurants.

Ribersborgs Beach
Ribersborgs Beach is located only 15 minutes from central Malmö and is a popular destination for families because of the shallow water. The beach is spacious and can host many visitors at the same time.
Here you also find the famous open air bath “Kallbadhuset” where you can go swimming in the ocean, enjoy the saunas and eat some Swedish traditional food.

Lilla Torg in Malmö
The square Lilla Torg has an extremely friendly and charming atmosphere, especially during the summer in Malmö. This square is home to numerous restaurants and coffee shops that are worth visiting during your stay.
During the summer, this spot is popular among both locals and tourists. So if you want to make sure to get a table, make sure to be on time or book a table in advance.

Lomma Beach is located in the neighbor town of Lomma and is a popular day-trip destination during the summer. It’s also worth making a day trip to Lomma to see the town itself.

Go shopping in Malmö
If you feel like going shopping, Malmö has a diverse selection of stores.
You can head to the main street in central Malmö, to Hansacompagniet or any other shopping mall around the city.
Some of the most famous shopping malls in Malmö are Emporia (largest shopping mall in Sweden), Triangeln, Entré, and Mobilia.

Visit Malmö Castle
One of the most popular things to do in Malmö is to visit the beautiful Malmö castle. The castle was built in 1434 and has been a home to many Danish kings throughout the years.
When Skåne (Southern part of Sweden) became Swedish year 1658, this castle was reconstructed into a fortress as a protection against Copenhagen. Later on, during the 18th century, Malmö castle was turned into a prison.

In the park around the castle, you can also visit “Slottsmöllan”, which is an old windmill in Malmö. You can also visit slottscaféet (the castle café) for a cup of coffee or a nice lunch.

One of the best spots in the city for delicious food is Malmö Saluhall. Here you find a variety of food – everything from Japanese and Italian to Hawaiian poke bowls and Swedish delicacies.

Malmö Festival takes place every year by the end of summer. People come here to celebrate and spend time together in the streets.
