Mission Bay

This is a lovely suburban town that is located 7 kilometers outside the city center of Auckland. Many locals and tourists come here for the beautiful beach known as Mission Bay. But in addition to the beach, the town itself is very charming with lots of restaurants.

Tiritiri Matangi Island

Rangitoto Island

Waiheke Island

Mount Eden

A sleeping volcano which is also the highest natural point in Auckland. From here, you can enjoy a 360 degrees view over Auckland and at the same time enjoy beautiful scenery and greenery. At the top, one can also check out the massive crater with a depth of 50 meters. 

Devonport

Devonport is a charming suburban town by the sea with around 5500 inhabitants. Visitors who come here can explore the various antique shops, souvenir shops, book stores, restaurants and cafees. 

It’s a popular destination for local Aucklanders and tourists alike, and it offers one of the best views of Auckland. Especially at night when the city lights up in the dark.

Matakana

Matakana Village is a real hidden gem and one of the most picturesque villages in New Zealand. On Saturdays, there is a famous market that is held by locals where handicrafts, antiques, food and local delicacies are sold. Matakana is very charming and also has a fair share of cozy pubs and restaurants.
