St. Sava Temple (Hram Svetog Save)<\/h2>\n

The world’s largest Orthodox church is located in Belgrade. This church is called St. Sava Temple or Hram Svetog Save as it’s called in Serbian. The church is dedicated to Saint Sava who was an important person in Serbia\u00a0when he founded the Serbian Orthodox Church.<\/p>\n

The St. Sava Temple is located on Vra\u010dar, which is the place where Saint Sava’s remainings and relics were burned in 1595 by the Turkish Sinan Pasha, as a punishment for that the Serbs had risen in rebellion.<\/p>\n

The Fort of Belgrad<\/h2>\n

The fort of Belgrade is the oldest area of the city. For several centuries, the locals mostly lived inside the fortress walls. Thanks to its location, you can enjoy fantastic views over the city.<\/p>\n

This is the local people’s own little “holiday gem”. Here come the locals to sunbathe and swim during the warm months of the year. The promenade at Ada Ciganlija is filled with both restaurants and cozy bars.<\/p>\n

Take the opportunity and rent a paddle boat and go for a ride along the Lake “Savsko Jezero.”<\/p>\n

Skadarlija<\/h2>\n

Skadarlija is Belgrade’s bohemian center with cobbled streets and a unique atmosphere. This is one of the city’s most charming streets, something you’ll notice when strolling around seeing all nice restaurants and cozy caf\u00e9s. In Skadarlija, there’s always hustle and bustle!<\/p>\n

Przionica<\/h2>\n

Being in Serbia without drinking the local coffee is like going to Sweden without eating a cinnamon bun or drinking Swedish cider. Coffee is a culture in Serbia, and\u00a0Przionica is one of the best places to enjoy a good cup of Serbian coffee. The decor is lovely, the staff is friendly, and the coffee is delicious.<\/p>\n

Mali Princ<\/h2>\n

Visit Novi Sad<\/h2>\n

The nearby city Novi Sad is Serbia’s second largest city, and it has become an increasingly popular destination during the years.
