Along the canal in Ljubljana, you can enjoy one of Europe’s most beautiful walks. Here’s the bridges located close together with green areas and beautiful buildings. For those who prefer exploring by boat, there are also guided tours to book taking you along the canal.<\/p>\n

Cankarjevo nabrezje<\/h2>\n

Cankarjevo\u00a0nabrezje\u00a0is a<\/span>\u00a0lovely area with many restaurants and bars. Every Sunday morning an interesting flea market held, where they sell many different things that are fun to have a look at. If you like antiques and local handicrafts, then this is a must among the top things to do in Ljubljana for you!<\/p>\n

Old Town in Ljubljana<\/h2>\n

When visiting Ljubljana, it’s a must to visit the old town. Here you’ll find many of the city’s best attractions, and it’s also in this neighborhood that you find the best bargains.<\/p>\n

Tivoli Park<\/h2>\n

This park is located on the outskirts of Ljubljana and covers an area of 5 square kilometers. Here there are plenty of cozy green areas with ponds and fountains. Tivoli Park is a popular destination for families and for those who want to get away from city life.<\/p>\n

Franciskanska Cerkev<\/h2>\n

Franciskanska Cerkev is a\u00a0beautiful church on both the inside and the outside. The church was built in the mid-1600s\u00a0and has since then been rebuilt and renovated several times. Beside the church lies a monastery that originates from the 1300s. Inside the monastery and the church, you’ll find numerous old relics and books.<\/p>\n

The Castle of Ljubljana<\/h2>\n

There are several castles in and around Ljubljana, but this is the largest and most visited one. The castle was built in the 1500s and offers a romantic atmosphere and also a fantastic view of the city. In the castle courtyard, you can participate in several activities and events all year round. If you’re interested in knowing more about the castle, there are guided tours to go on.<\/p>\n

Preseren Square<\/h2>\n

The central square in Ljubljana is located in the old quarters of the city. It’s a major venue for locals, and all around the square, you’ll find several attractions, old buildings and narrow streets for both shopping and food.<\/p>\n
