Cricovas and Milestii Micis\u00a0Cellar<\/h2>\n

Cricovas and Milestii Micis wine cellar are known as Europes largest underground wine cellar. Here you can go wine tasting, a wine tasting that you’ve experienced before. The\u00a0wine cellar is huge and that big that you can go down in it with a car.<\/p>\n

A cool and different wine tasting experience!<\/p>\n

National Museum of History of Moldova<\/h2>\n

This museum is located in the heart of Chisinau, just behind the Parliament and is home to over 265 000 objects. One of the main attractions is the\u00a0replica of St. Stephen’s sword.<\/p>\n

Admission costs around 15 crowns.<\/p>\n

The Nativity Cathedral<\/h2>\n

This beautiful cathedral is a perfect example of neoclassical architecture. It was built during 1830, and have been destroyed and restored several times. During the Soviet era, worshiping was prohibited in the church.<\/p>\n

The cathedral’s interior is incredibly beautiful with many excellent paintings and decorations in gold.<\/p>\n

The Triumphal Arch<\/h2>\n

Many cities in Europe has a triumphal arch somewhere, and Chisinau is no exception. The Arc de Triomphe is located in the center of Chisinau and is very beautiful. So make sure to bring your camera!<\/p>\n

Parcul Valea Morilor<\/h2>\n

Just outside the city center lies this beautiful park, surrounded by an artificial lake. Here you can relax and sunbathe at the beach or take a dip in the lake. From here, you also get nice views of Moldova’s hillside.<\/p>\n

Art Market<\/h2>\n

Go to the art market and buy handicrafts and souvenirs to your loved ones back home. Here you’ll have plenty of good opportunities to find bargains, and there’s also several fun things to have a look at. Many of the thing that are sold here are of excellent quality and really show how talented these artists are.<\/p>\n

Explore Old Town<\/h2>\n

Chisinau is an old town, and just like many other cities in Moldova, there’s not a lot of things to do. However, it’s a cozy town that’s nice to wander through, to visit the markets, to have a look at all the old buildings, and to sit down and eat good meal at a local restaurant.<\/p>\n

Taste Cognac<\/h2>\n

When visiting Chisinau, it’s a must to taste the national drink “Kvint” that’s manufactured in the southern parts of Moldova. Moldovian Cognac is also very cheap and super delicious!<\/p>\n

Memorial Park<\/h2>\n

A memorial park for those who fought in World War II and for Moldova’s independence. The park itself is stunning with its greenery, trees, and red roses.<\/p>\n

Explore the rural Moldova<\/h2>\n

Many parts of Moldova is still rural, and there are still several places where the locals live like they’ve always done. The villagers bake bread, they milk goats and live the simple life. Most Moldovans are very welcoming and pleased to show the little that they have.<\/p>\n
