You can spend a weekend in Paris<\/a> and still fall in love in the city and experience the romantic vibes and beautiful landmarks. But you can also stay longer to get to know it from a local’s perspective. <\/p>\n

No matter the weather there are always some exciting activities available in the French Capital. There are even lots of things to do in Paris when it rains<\/a> as well as when the sun shines. Just remember to carry clothes after season, and you’ll have a good time!<\/p>\n

1. Eiffel Tower<\/h2>\n

Visiting the Eiffel Tower up close at least once is definitely one of the must things to do in Paris. Go up in the tower and enjoy the magnificent views of the city while enjoying a glass of champagne.<\/p>\n

2. Le Marche des Enfants Rouges<\/h2>\n

Paris oldest food market Le Marche des Enfants Rouges is a lovely place to stroll around on a morning. Fresh produce such as cheese and fruit are being sold, and there are also several nice places to have a hearty lunch.<\/p>\n

3. Ladur\u00e9e<\/h2>\n

Another must thing to do in Paris is to visit the famous patisserie Ladur\u00e9e. There, they sell the delicious pastries “macarons” that literally melts in your mouth.<\/p>\n

4. Mus\u00e9e d’Orsay<\/h2>\n

The Mus\u00e9e d’Orsay is clearly one of Paris’s top museums. There is a wide range of exhibits from many famous artists. Once inside the museum, you can see some of the world’s best collections of Monet, Van Gogh, and Rodin.<\/p>\n

5. Fromagerie Laurent Dubois<\/h2>\n

Fromagerie Laurent Dubois’s is a dream shop for cheese lovers. They have a wide selection of cheeses and a very knowledgeable staff. This is the perfect shop to shop cheeses before the trip home since they also can vacuum pack your cheeses.<\/p>\n

6. Sacre Coeur<\/h2>\n

1665 steps up the hill of Montmartre, in front of the church of Sacre Coeur, one finds the best free views of Paris. The church is a very popular landmark in Paris, both for its beautiful architecture, but also thanks to the panoramic views of the city.<\/p>\n

7. Galeries Lafayette<\/h2>\n

Shopaholics shouldn’t miss out on the famous mall, Galeries Lafayette. A huge shopping mall in central Paris that has a large selection of famous shops with furnishings, clothes, and accessories. Chanel, Prada, Ralph Lauren and Dior are just some of the famous stores and brands available under the Gallery’s roof.<\/p>\n

8. Latin Quarter<\/h2>\n

Latin Quarter is one of the oldest areas in Paris. A very nice area that’s also rich in history, beautiful architecture, quaint restaurants and cool shops.<\/p>\n

9. Picnic and stroll by the Seine<\/h2>\n

Do as the French themselves and get to the canal Seine to enjoy a picnic with friends or your loved one. Eat, relax, watch the crowd and finish with a nice walk along the water.<\/p>\n
